After over 2-years off the road I’m recommissioning my 1990 Audi 90. All 4 tyres are perished so I’m looking for a new set of 15” or 16” wheels to suit original 4 x 108 hubs.

I have a 2.3 NF engine which is mostly complete and very similar to the NG. The NF came out of the 100, I think they played around with an electric-hybrid in about 1990 but needed such a big engine...

The alternator is located to the right of the engine (if you are standing facing the front of the car), just in front / to side of the radiator. Came from 5-cylinder 2.3 NG

If it were the ISV, unplug the connector and it'll idle really low (but won't bounce). You should be alright in the warm weather to avoid stalling.

I did this trick for a few weeks until I sorted...
