My honest opinion..

Do not pay a premium for a low mileage modern diesel, the dpf is the first cause for concern.

Next the spec. SE is the least desirable, that coupled with no sat nav and a...

They are your water temperature warning lights. B2s with an econometer did without a water temp gauge (like the first quattros with a turbo boost gauge).

So the red light comes on before start up...

Cromer

Only the Inari Silver one there now, I drove past last autumn. I have driven past it for at least a decade and unfortunately directly behind it is the cliff face and the sea so it is badly rusted out.

What’s different about a KK?

My inspiration (except for dodgy front spoiler!). The 80q of Reinhard Rhode, complete with UR running gear and Fuchs.. back in 1983... Proving that a modded 80q is totally in keeping with the period!...

Will PM, be great to have a copy if that’s O.K?

Funnily the 80q s that I had back then (one in 85, the other in 86) were also Zermatt on steel wheels. My current one was...

Cheers chap, top man🍺
I had a couple back in the 80s, awesome cars. Got one being rebuilt with an ABY, thinking I might put the KK in an early coupe GT 🤔

Absolutely, but Audi being Audi, the 2144cc was marketed as 2.2, 2226cc was badged 2.3! Well, I guess it was 82cc bigger 😄

Great read, thanks🍻 The KK really was all revs! 190bhp from a non-turbo 10v sounds like a lot of fun😉

Probably is just the manifold, did wonder if anything else was different. From memory the KV bought in both a raise to 2.3 and hydraulic tappets. The KK just loves to rev though 😉

Would be...

Thanks Colin,
I would like to find out more about the KK engine. Seems it was only available from 1981-1983 and then only in the b2 80 quattro. It had slightly more power than the other 2.2 l5s but...

What’s different about a KK?

Would anyone know what the differences were between the KK l5 and the other non-turbo 2.2 l5s (KE,KF) of the period?

Think it was only used in the b2 80q?

Thanks
