Got FAG 713 6100 50 bearing set from Eurocarparts for the front of the RS2. Much ‘persuasion’ during the extraction process but the new one is smooth as silk and the car is back to rude health.

Never had the slider panel off or apart but the sliders are all without any resistance and do nothing. Is that a fault of a control valve etc? Not sure how this works.

Blower operates fine...

Sadly I concur. Many of them chuck the cable and connectors in and fix the trim back hoping you never see the birds nest 'artistry'.

I'll give it a go myself and see if I can fully immobilise it...
