Block the drain and leave it to soak overnight with a couple of tabs. May need some agitation to get the worst stains off.

I'd suggest that's the least of your worries judging by that rear subframe.

You seriously need to consider removing the subframe and getting it repaired / blasted etc.

yes they share a relay. It's under the steering wheel on a separate circuit from the main plate.

It sounds like you need to check wiring and the output from the switch.

When you say nothing happens, does it turn over or is it totally dead ?

If it's not even turning over, I'd suspect a battery or a bad earth.
