I don't think you can beat an air impact driver if you have a compressor...ok it can be a bit fiddly switching on and hooking up the air hose but cheap to buy and maintain.

Hi ...most of this type of problem is either fuel or ignition related, I would advise having a complete fuel pressure test including injector flow, I assume you have checked the basics, flap height...

I used 20/50 in my JS with no problems at all.......I did try 10/40 at one time but it was a bit rattily on the tappets, these are old engines design wise and I would go by what the manufacture...

Also the rotor arm (cap removed) should point to no 1 cylinder when at TDC.....
