I understand that there should be shims to adjust this, but none were...

I'm the unlucky one who soldered up the relay and then found it really WAS the motor gone! Would consider complete regulator mechanism. :wall:

Overall running OK now, if a little "lumpy" when cold.

When stopped in neutral, idle is at about 1300. If a gear is engaged and the clutch brought up until it starts to bite, idle will fall back...
