MB instrument cluster lighting

I am currently using LEDs to light the cluster. The OEM halogens burn pretty hot.

Trouble is of course that they are undimmable, but that's a small price to pay for
1-the 1 amp permanent saving...

Obviously ended up stripping most of the fuse box...

Obviously ended up stripping most of the fuse box out, tidying up the wiring and fitting the foot card. Took longer than I’d planned (of course) but am glad to have card in place.

There are two thick bunches of cables coming in from the engine bay, and I think 5 or 6 connectors have been disconnected from each other...

My brother in law works for London Underground, and i used a torque wrench used on their trains....

The VAG tool uses a multiplier, so a "standard" torque wrench is used. ?tool 2079? ?2084?

I've used araldite on fitting the small metal blocks to Audi screens for 28 years, tape it up to the inside of the screen and leave it to set, then fix mirror on (say, next day)
Never had any fall...
