Thats great thanks a lot, yes I found the sensors, I didnt realise they would fit like that with the plastic shroud on the terminal. Connected them up and now showing no fault codes, and it starts...

Swapping the wire has cured the oil light, but I now have these 2 spare... blue/black and white/brown, they split off the loom below the distributor but are fairly long so could go anywhere!

I have changed the oil in the diff on my MB Quattro but it only seems to have taken around 1ltr, the Phil Payne site says 2.2ltrs, am I using the wrong fill point? Ive used the one on the off side...

Out of interest what did you manage to find from suppliers, was it to remanufacture the original joints? Thats the route I went down first but I couldnt find anyone with a solution/helpful at all.
