I have a 1986 B2 Red Audi 80 GL, sitting in my garage. We have had the car in the family from new. The odometer is showing around 42k miles; it also has a lazerline alarm system fitted.

hey pimpdriver i have a 5 speed 1986 80 GL 1.8; what is a webber? is a webber a new carburetor? what would my current MPG be and what would it then be if i fitted one of those - or doesn't it apply...

cheers mate, i've resided myself to using mole grips as i got hold of some 11mm brake spanners and they didn't seem do the job. am tempted to just take the whole car to the garage and get the work...
