Id like to replace headlining, anyone done this?
Hello!!
I have one right manky old original headlining on the 200. Im ordering some suede to replace it with, and some appropriate density/thickness foam. Has anyone here ever fitted/trimmed a fresh headlining for their car? Ive read a guide on an American site, would just like someone from here to hold my hand,sweetie:p:yikes::nod: |

.
I could recover the original, yes of course.
I thought I'd just spruce the old lass up a bit. I havent pulled the **** out yet though! No idea what its like under there.....is it foam backed....or the existing covering seperate/on its own. Sallus has given it a good going over Matron, but it is 1984 stuff, and in trying to tuck it back in properly,it splitteth. Hey I never knew we had a new Automated **** and **** -o-meter on here! How novel! |

The trimmers I use here in sunny shepshed are well experienced in sorting out ****ed up old headlinings as well as other ****ed up bits on car interiors. They repaired my ****ed seats. The're very good.
Not sure if you could recover it in sutue. It may have to come out, which means screen removal I'd think. I like the suede idea though, how's about some black leather to match the seats groomus?????:rock::yikes: |
