7A engine stroking

just wondering if its possible to use the diesel crank in this engine.... its the 20 valve from an 80 quattro....think its code is 7A... i know a guy has one for sale ( complete car) with a rattle in the bottom end....

bolt on turbo kits are available for the 7a bringing power up to 250bhp i think:crazy::crazy: but... they're about £2000 :yikes:

not too keen on turbos... seem to be troublesome...ah it mite just need shells done but i was gonna experiment with bigger displacement... think im punching above my weight though....
