Noooooooo Steve, you can't selly Limey.
Unless you're planning to get something tasty to replace her.:D

daft question, what's special about the driveshafts?

SteveCat 12-03-08 03:36 PM

I must sell her,I fancy a change.

I was told by Martyn at VAGparts that it had tri summit or other driveshafts. These were on the order sheet at factory.Looked like they were on the order by request.God knows!!

I want something interesting alright, suggestions welcome.

I like the Series 3 Lancia Thema Turbo on ebay right now,in Black.Humming ad harring over that!

A 5 pot avant would be nice, maybe another 944.Coxy do you know of anything interesting available??I texted the Elite Detail mobile number Sunday thinking it must be your mobile but didnt get a reply.hmm

I dont want dosh to change hands on an exchange really.

Steve:D

you've got summat interesting!!

You could have had that 924 Turbo that I was selling for a friend! sold on evil bay at the weekend for less than £2k and it is a quick car! And as you like interesting colours, the 2 tone brown would have been right at home!;)

pimpdriver 12-03-08 03:47 PM

I like the 944s personally. A lot of car and plenty of grunt.

I wouldn't touch a Lancia, I know they are the same platform as the Saab 9000, Alfa 164 and Fiat Croma. But that's just me.

5 pots are great. How about a Coupe quattro 20V??? Quattro is great.

S2?

Merc 190E Cosworth?

Not that anyone will probably care, but the special driveshafts on my car are Tripodic Driveshafts.

According to Martyn of Vagparts, this was very unusual for the time, really advanced.

One thing I didnt take into account ......... all 2.6 Audi Coupes may well have these!!!

I just off now to eat some more stupid cake!

Bye:rolleyes:
