Yep 20v sport, good price ono need a bit of work to get nice, great cars when sorted real pleasure to drive, quicker than they look!!!

Kenquattro 16-12-09 09:16 PM

Yep a genuine Sport alright. Only option it has is the sunroof, so quite a basic one. In the best colour, though. Being a 2wd one, it will go like stink. Although I would always prefer the quattro version, I would sooner have one of these 2wd Sports than a non Sport quattro 20V. Can't really go wrong for 300 quid.

Very good price for one of those. For the second time today I've been undone by Kenquattro, I thought all Sport's were quattro's - apparently not - and I used work for VAG, another blonde moment  Mind you, we only did ever sell one 90 Sport 20 valve in Tornado Red if my memory serves me correctly and that was a quattro.

The 2wd 90 Sport 20V was introduced about 6 or so months before the quattro version. They do feel far more lively than the quattro version. The 90 10V 2226cc that was fitted with the 'Sport Pack' option was only available in Satin Black, and only as a quattro. It had a higher standard spec as it had the standard rear electric windows, although it came on 15" Aeros, not Speedlines.

You certainly know your stuff Ken - hats off to you

I am an even bigger anorak when it comes to music and old skool adidas trainers.

David Small 16-12-09 10:17 PM

Nowt wrong with being an anorak - just don't wear them in public !! Just had a look at your album - some great cars you've owned

I had a shed load of my trainers in the boot of the A6 at the very wet November Breakfast Club meet. I just didn't get the chance to show you them. Ben seen them. I think he thought I had *cough* issues. There was probably about £2.5k worth of adidas' finest in my boot that day.
