Yep funny time of year for some. I love Christmas generally, but Christmas day is not the best day. Have Lewis in the morning, but when he goes home at 1 o'clockish, I just spend the rest of the day thinking about how much fun he's having

I bloody hate this time of year tbh. Why am I forced to take two weeks off work in the middle of winter for a start?

Depends on who you work for and company policy I suppose, my Dad always had to take two weeks of at Christmas because the mill shut down for that period. I would much rather have my holidays in the better weather, but for various reason's this year I just ain't used my holidays up so I finish on 18 December and dont go back until 4 January, because I aint gonna lose em and we can't carry them over to the next year.

Christmas means something for 2 lots of people- Kids and those who go to Church.
if you're not in either of those 2 camps of course its a disappointment- come to terms with it and you'll have a nice time

burry the hatchet with the Mrs and have the DAY together for Lewis, I am sure having the 2 of you together means more to him than presents then you go off at 1pm. The day is for Lewis however old he is.
