Greetings/Pictures from Krakow

Been here in Krakow for 3 days now and so far, we haven't seen one single car wash!!!

Had lots of Tyskie (Polish lager!), been down the salt mines, seen lots of series 3 Audi 80's (many of which are taxi's which put the 200k club to shame!!)
Stunning city and would recommend it to anyone!

back home tomorrow though :(

Hello back.
My great grandad on my mother's side came from the outskirts of Krakow in the 1900's.
Never been, they say it's lovely, historical, and quite reasonable to stay at.

I was there last year, and seen a mint Berlin registered RR and two mint 200 quattros. Lovely city. I was lucky as the missus is Polish, and so knew the places to go and see etc. Coudn't believe the amount of little Fiat 126s there. I remember getting a taxi, and the rank was full of half decent Merc E Class taxis and I deliberately went and got in the shittiest FSO Polonez I have ever seen. It was great!

The missus' family on her fathers side comes from Zakopane approx 60KMS south of Krakow. Absolutely beautiful scenery.

We're right next to the main square and there's sausages and mulled wine everywhere!
Yup, Fiat 126's must have bread here!!
Food is superb and reasonable as well.
