Ashes to Ashes

Spoted about 4pm yesterday afternoon, Mr Gene Hunts quattro on the back of a truck on the A40 comming out of London towards the M25

quattrokid 25-10-09 02:50 PM

we should have contacted the BBC and had a load of quattros on the set of A2A

one episode we could have had our cars parked in the streets around the set...OR have a few running and meet DCI at traffic lights... what would be his reply to another quattro pulling up along side with Amanda at the helm?:ihih::lol::lol::lol::lol:

PRICELESS:tup:

WHO owns DCI's quattro anyway? was it loaned to the Beeb?

Top spotting Nige!

@ Rich, I think the production company owns it (both of 'em!)

BIGGYIN 25-10-09 09:12 PM

Brother said there,s a list(agency) you can put your classic cars on and film companies can rent them.Don,t get that much money, just the privilege of seeing your car on the screen.

I read somewhere that when they are rented out they aren't treated with much respect and could come back damaged. A risk you take. Not sure how true it is though.
One thing for sure, they wouldn't be treated as well as we would treat them.
