Ronals....

I hope I'm not shooting myself in the foot here but I'm after some Ronal alloys for my Audi 200 and saw these on eBay.

I already have Ronals but they need refurbishing, without tyres these are too expensive aren't they?

be much cheaper to get yours shot blasted and poweder coated than pay £200 for them.

I've got a set of Ronals off a 200 Turbo you can have for cheap if you want to get them refurbed and keep the others for the car??

You can get 6" ronals quite often for under £100

Puglife 12-02-08 08:07 PM

those are 5stud? are 200turbos 5 or 4stud? I have two or three sets of 4stud CQ ronals here...

200 turbo's are 5 stud.

Yep I'm sadly very familiar with those particular eBay items - perfect apart from the 4 stud thing. I may refurb my alloys myself but if I could get a good set with tyres I'd pay. The type 43 200 alloys were generally gold, this is where I may have to stray from factory original restoration standards!

Isn't it stupid that they're getting rid of negative feedback in May - the end of eBay!

eBay died on it's arse when they decided to hide bidder names for items more than £100.
Excellent for shill bidding which equals even more money in the coffers for eBay.

Can't tempt you with a set of 5 stud ronals then which you can take to get refurbed whilst you leave the other ones on the car?

Possibly, what condition are they and how much?

Yes the hidden bidder thing is stupid. The system worked well, they just needed to deal with the villains properly - which they didn't do. Paypal on the other hand are pretty good - I digress...

The rims were the ones on the 200 near me. Yours for a tenner a piece.
