Where is it located on the audi 200?

Manual gearbox? Probably on there somewhere pointing backwards. I have a 100 quattro gearbox (manual - stickshift!) in my garage, I can have a look if you want.

will check tonight, on my 80 Sport gearboxes it is near the back, facing backwards, near the top.

As I found out when I had my gearbox and clutch swapped, and the mechanic plugged the reversing switch cable onto the wrong plug (my gearbox is a 4+E and has a switch for an econometer), so every time I went into 5th gear, the reversing lights came on!!!! Took me a few weeks to find out, and wonder why everyone was flashing me!!!

Take a look yet?
