2mm of rain this year
 

I know this sounds stupid, espically for you guys Manchester way, but in Southend we have had 2mm of rain this year. Thats it. Great Wakering which is 2 miles from Southend is in the Guiness book of records as the only desert in the UK. Now this all sounds great but my garden is dying, infact everything green is dying and we need rain badly. Any way I thought I would share this boring crap with you all:tup:

We caught the edge of a Tornado last week and where it touched down one person was killed......:sad: and a large amount of property was flattened.

Then on Saturday we had the remnants of a hurricane blow through........though thankfully we are so far inland they lose their destructive ferocity !
Think we had 2mm of rain in about the first minute :yikes:

Its not boring mate,its been the wettest summer i can ever remember up here.The weather has got stuck on very wet and windy and its not changed much since beginning of June,crops are rotting in the fields.Car detailing days have been few and far between:cryin:very weird weather,makes me want to migrate down south.

think we got 2mm of rain today in salford lol

I wish some of you would move down south! Might have some places to go on a Sunday then!!!:lol: Its lonely down south as a classic Audi Man:nod:

NO sympathy from me I'm afraid, Plymouth has been horrendous for three years now (summer wise!)

My first year in Plymouth it started raining in October and rained at least once every single day until March. Being a student who had a 20 min walk each way each day (that I could be bothered to go in) I've gotta say it wasn't the greatest experience!
