help with camera
 

my s7000 finepix takes xd cards whitch you can only get 2gb max or shall i go for cf
compact flash card whitch is only slightly more expencive and 8gb storage.
apart from the capacity is there any differance in speed quality ect.
what's your pref ?

I would get the 8GB one. Speed dosn't differ that much and with a 2GB you should be able to get about 250 photos, wereas with the 8 GB you should be able to get about 1000 photos.

CF are faster and(bigger) you can never have too much space.(especially if shooting RAW)
I think xd cards are more expensive.

just found out mine takes microdrive ?whats the differance with cf
