Engine codes?
 

How do i find my engine code? I've got a 1991 audi 80 2.0 8 valve sport with k-jet injection and am struggling to find correct bits for it because i'm unsure of engine code. Think its the 115bhp engine if that helps?

Best place is look on data sticker. There's one in the boot, stuck to the iner panels, either at side or in spare wheel well, but there's also one stuck to the first page of the service booklet. It will be next to a bit that says "motor".

Alternatively, look for the number stamped onto the block. The engine code is the 2 or 3 letter prefix to the engine number

No service book and wherever it is stamped on the engine its probably unreadable. But yeah, should have known about the sticker in the boot seeing as i've had a load of VAG cars. I'm a numpty sometimes :wierdo:
