May be interested in a month or so if not sold.

Would it fit straight into a 100 quattro? Was it from an Auto or manual car (and does it matter?)

spoke to Audi/VW garage near GLoucester, blokey there said it'd be a lot of work with the wiring loom etc.

And my wife says she'll kill me if I do!

death better than quattroturbo ooomph ?

Well I have a garage which has an 80 Sport ex rally car in it I was going to strip and get rid of last weekend, but Ihad to write a report for work instead.

I have my 80CL on the drive, currently SORN'd.

I have my 100 quattro avant as my daily driver, to save the 80CL. I'm going to fit the 80 Sport running gear into the 80CL 9at some point in the future, I've been trying to do it for the past 18 months.....

Andd I travel about 25000 miles a year commuting, the 100 currently does about 27-28mpg and I think a turbo motor would give worse MPG....

Its just another project I'd never get round to doing.....

May as well sell the 100 and get a 200 turbo instead, but then I'd probably want an S2 by then......

Bugger.......

Hmmm my ur gives about 28-31 and she got a turbo infact she's far more economical than growbag my 2.8qs avant.

decisions

100q avant is a classy motor, better mpg ,better sticking the turbo motor in a smaller car i reckon:)

I am aware that I could stick the turbo motor into the 80CL, but as the 80CL weighs 950kg I want to keep it 4 cylinder to keep the weight down, and keep the weight back (I don't want extra cylinders out the front).

2.0 16V is the way forward for the 80CL one day.....

You could stick the motor in a T25 singlecab pickup:
