The Who
Feeling a bit tired this morning so thought I know "the Who"
Full volume blow the speakers The Who Live at Leeds, Young Man Blues.... K'in hell. I could take on the world now!!:finger: |
Big fan Poop.
Not old enough to have see them live with Keith Moon, but I did see them in the 80's |
not my bag I'm afraid. Just could never take Roger Daltry seriously.
|
Matt whats toy fav Who tune?
|
Tough question.
I freely admit to liking many of the mainline radio classics. Behind Blue Eyes & Love reign over me But "Real Me" is awsome bass work. Also love Entwhistle contributions to lyrics like Boris the Spider and my Wife |
Have you got the live at Leeds album, if you havent its on iTunes
|
On vinyl. Somewhere.
|
Of all the things I share and have in common with my friends, music remains the most personal and unique to the individual. Many close friends adore bands I can't fathom, and vice versa.
|
I think 'Behind Blue Eyes' is a favourite of mine and the long version of 'Wont Get Fooled Again'.
On a different note when we went to the Isle Of Man back in April, Andy ( the hotel owner ) was starting to clean up after we had all had breakfast, and in the corner was a good old fashioned Technics Hi-Fi one with all the knobs on and flashing lights. He inadvertantly slipped in his latest acquisition 'Deep Purple - The Very Best Of' put the CD on random play and up pops 'Strange Kind Of Women'...................Jesus Christ I was away and Flossie had to prise me out. I could have stayed there all day.....emptied the bar and just rocked. Funny how things just happen! |
Deep Purple.
Loudest band I ever saw live. Love their early work. Highway Star, cannot be played while driving. Guarenteed to get a speeding ticket. |
