80 Coilovers
 

I've looked everywhere for some coilies for my 80 GL to no avail :( German ebay turns up nothing, nor does UK ebay, or any google's.

Does anyone know if they've got the same setup as the coupe? as obviously finding quattro coilies is much easier. Or are they the same as any other VAGs?

try these they may be able to turn your struts into coilovers as i know they have done some for a mk1
polo which is a similar to the b2 set up :tup:

Been thinking about ordering the weitec set up but does anyone know if they wind down lower then 60mm? ie do they have helper springs? If not I might have to find some lowering top caps :s

the weitec don't do coilovers for yours the lowest is 60mm.but jamex do list 80/40mm hope this helps

OK. Sorry. I was just going by the motorsportworld website.

THe ultra GT is just a normal kit, not coilovers.

If you google weitec ultra GT you will see what I mean.

Weitec are no longer available for a 80 B2, I was going to get them for my type 81, MSW's computer said noooo.

I ended up getting Spax setup.

I think it's gonna be the 80/40 kit, will have rake and still be able to get people in the back, does anyone have this kit fitted? would like a nosey at the stance :)
