cam for a kv engine

i am trying to buget mod my new (ish) kv engine.

coming from the good old vw stuff there was a few tricks fitting cams from diffrent cams to engines just wondering if theres anything that would fit in a kv head and give a little bit more than the standard cam.

also other ideas on working the head please just polished all the ports out

Hi Tim

Do Schrick do one?

Did Jonny give you a buzz?

I am gaving a cam reground by Newman cams at the moment. These are the people who did Ralfs cam for Coxy. They are doing the cam to a schrick 272 profile but I only expect to pay about half the price (£150 quids or so).

Only one that might be worth looking at is one from the 2144cc KK injected engine that had slightly more aggressive timing than the KV. Not sure whether this engine was solid or Hydraulic followers though, need to check..
