90 20V SPORT mot failure help!

My 90 20v Sport failed her mot:cryin:,i fitted new rear discs, but have been told calliper needs replacing,a couple of brake hoses and a section of brake pipe too! Emissions were fine ,no ignition lights due to previous owners bodged ignition wiring job,he tried to chisel out the ignition lock, which he did but left the steering lock part in,can you imagine cornering then suddenly oops! steering lock on :yikes::yikes: A load of wires have been cut right through,i guess these are from the sensors and should go somewhere:confused::confused: but:idea:maybe the back of the instrument panel:confused:The garage has told me it will cost a lot to fix,and i would have to get an auto spark on the job,any suggestions or pointers most welcome.I do have a manual for the car ,perhaps a good place to start:idea:

I put one of mine in,to have clutch fitted and master brake cylinder.
While they were doing it,they severed a copper brake line.A few days after i finally got it back,i took the ex-wife for a driving lesson. It started raining so i put the wipers on(while the lights were on),next minute car full off smoke.
The prats had put the steering column pinch bolts in the wrong way, which split my wiring loom.It had shorted my lights and wipers.
From then on i try and do all the work myself.I can trust my and i,m alot cheaper.LOL.

Mike is more into coupe parts and s2 I've called and emailed him but heard nothing back yet. He's a busy chap.I'll be going down the manual route pick it up as you go along so to speak.THE GARAGE said it would cost more to repair than the car was worth[ BOLLOCKS!] Remember i paid £120 for the car its not about what the cars worth for me ,its the pleasure of getting her back on the road and polished up:nod::nod::nod:
