2 things i need help on please
 
right my car is an 90 -1989 kv engine


1. my car sudenly not starting then after trying n trying leaving it n try again it fires then will be fine allday then left it from last sunday till to day and wont start again? thinking poss fuel pump on its way out but took the fuel line off tried it and bare petrol flying every ware but still not ruling fuel pump out as could have just kicked in again. any other ideas please


2 simple on this i think the blower motor that has the pipe going over the rocker cover going to the injectors. do i need it can i rip it out or is this abad idea trying to clean the bay up a bit and its annoying me lol

well everytime i have starting problems i just take off the wire to the isv and if that dont work.......take off the one to the 5th injector

Change the fuel pump relay, I had the same problem with my b2 80 sport

Or try my pet hate.. The Cold Start Injector.... (Disconnect the electrical plug, then try)...

They've got a nasty habit of flooding the old girls in 'Temperate' climates.

Item 2....

Sympathetically take it out..... Run the old girl for a few months with it missing... See how it goes....


Then (back to the Temperate climate thing).... Wonder the logic of it ever being there...

..............


That said....

If you ever go to Germany/Race Circuit/Isle of Man etc and get the exhaust manifold cherry red, leave it idling for a few minutes before shutdown, as the manifolds will vaporise the injector fuel supply without the cooling (after-run) fan....
