wax on glass/lights?

When polishing/waxing do you do the lights and windows?

If using Mer I put it all over but not the windscreen (did it once, squeaked like Deliverance for ages after...).

Drove to work and my headlights are black, just wondered if there is something to make the water bead up and run off? (I know the lights get hot hence it gets baked on).

I put collinite wax on all my lights and side rears. Probably not best put it on front side and definately not on the front screen though!!

ps. Invest in a tin of Collinite wax. stuff like Mer, meguiars will last less than a week in this weather. Collinte 915 will last for about 3 months!!!
When they get dirty, chuck water of them and the dirts falls off!!!

It's about £23 a tin in the Uk but you can buy it from the US for around $20 plus postage. So good having a shit dollar at the moment!!!

Collinite 476???

Read the user reviews and it seems easier to buff off, and cheaper too...

476 is good, The 915 is the harder wearing of the 2 and gives a better finish, but 476 is an excellent all rounder.
