what to use on the polished rim?
 
these borbet A's need there polished rim cleaned up a bit. what can i use to give the a good rubbing? :confused:

Gaz I think Coxy likes Autosol for polished metals. I'm getting this from an old post, so take it with a grain of salt.

He probably won't be able to resist answering your post in the AM. It's 10 PM in the US.

I hate polishing rims btw!
it's a real knuckle scraper!
Either use Autosol or Peeks metal polish.
Don't bother with the Meguiars metal polish as it's overly expensive and not as good.

I always used autosol its a winner!! COxy do you seal it in anyway after??

only painted rims not polished ones.
I use chemical guys wheel sealant on painted ones (when I can be bothered!!)

If you can get some, the Mothers metal polish is my personal favourite.

i use metaseul from cava seul normaly but they stopped the production :wall: so looking for new stuff :rock:

Concur with recommendations for Autosol, it is good and not overpriced.

Is there lacquer on there that needs to be fixed up too?

how much are u lot paying for this 'Autosol' ? reason i ask is i think we have some in the shop but want to know if the price a reasonable? :lol:

last time I bought Autosol, it was 4 tubes for a tenner from the old Buildwas Car Boot!

Was about 15 years ago mind!
