boost at 1.1bar constant
 

hi my s4 aan engine has just sudenly decided to stick its boost at 1.1 bar and wont budge up or down?the engine is not pulling either for obvious it is not boosting ? anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?

If thats 1.1 on your gauge that means 0.1 bar boost, so nothing.. If it's suddenly gone it could be the wastegate sticking or diaphram gone. Normally when faults on these engines occur it goes to mechanical boost of 0.4bar. The fact that it's not even giving that would tell me its the wastgate itself..Good luck.

Any suspect noises from engine bay? Noteably whistling or hissing....
As mentioned its making essentially nothing over atmospheric pressure so will be a problem linked to the turbo and boosting side.

Are all pipes still connected between the turbo and the inlet.

no its not the waste gate just checked it, but it does make a gush sound as you change gear like dump valve sound, also surges under acceleration, i disconnected the n75 and nothing changed could it be this:confused:
