Audi GT Coupe Cam Cover

Is it easy to remove the cam cover and cam belt cover so that I can get them powder coated?

tractor Dave 27-02-23 10:09 PM

Yes.
Get a new gasket whilst there.

Malcolmrs2000 27-02-23 10:29 PM

So nothing too technical..???…I am a Ford guy after all!..just the nuts on the covers?

tractor Dave 28-02-23 07:46 AM

No, nothing difficult at all. Just don't over torque the little nuts on the cam cover. It's quite low torque, 10nm from memory.

You can still but second hand Haynes manual for this car cheap on ebay. A worthwhile investment

Think I have a manual somewhere in the garage but it meant getting off the couch and going outside on a very cold day! 🤣🤣
