Dash lights not working - UPDATE

1 Attachment(s)
Hi again all. Following advice from my previous post regarding the dash lights not working when I turn the headlights on I finally got around to taking the instrument cluster facia apart and looking at the switches as per the advice.

I've added a photo of the offending area.

As you can see where there would normally be a black plastic clip to the light switches the wires are instead individually placed onto the switch (and bloody glued in worse luck!) The bit that worries me is the burnt out connector as I don't know whether that is as a result of the dodgy connection to the switch or the result of some other issue?

Can anyone give me some advice on the best way forward from here. Can you still get these connectors or does anyone have one spare for sale? I may also need guidance on wiring it up so I get the right wire in the right hole!

Thanks in advance everyone. By the way I'm starting to add more pictures of my Quattro and coupe so feel free to browse and comment!
