Quattro Voice Synthesiser

Hi all.

In the near future, I'll be looking for a voice Synthesiser box for a 1985 quattro, (english language)
Anyone out there have one they are willing to part with?

Anyone got any thoughts on reliability of these as second hand units?

Thanks
Geoff

Mine is still working fine after 31 years; I can't imagine they're much different As used/salvaged. It's really down to how well they've been cared for during or since being salvaged. That will simply be a case by case issue.

What's wrong with yours?

Missing since I bought the car a year ago.....

Definitely missing? Or just not functioning because it's been bypassed, which was not unusual over the years.

Hopefully, there's not lots of chopped wiring, too.

As to reliability, the only issue which I've encountered (adding as an afterthought) is occasional issues with the relay which connects the output to the speaker. Dirty contacts is what I put it down to.

And while you might specifically want English, I'd seriously consider having any language if it got the system running correctly.

Oh it's definitely missing.
Loom looks ok as far as I can remember.
