Advice on A4 Estate
Hi Guys,
Need some advice, looking at buying an A4 Estate, I am thinking of looking at the following car:- https://www.gumtree.com/p/audi/audi-...nt-/1199321188 Does the whine in 3rd seem a problem? Are there any points I should look out for? Please help. |

As above, seems overpriced for a cat D and a knackered box. Surely there's better ones out there
|
Thanks for the honest replies, will give that one a miss then. I was wondering if the whine was anything to worry about.
I will keep looking  |
Sounds like it's not been touched since being bumped either, so still in it's "broken" state??
From the sounds of it the whine has been there a while so maybe not too serious?? As above though, price a bit cheeky.....all things considered. |
Going to see this one tomorrow instead:-

http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/pwcAAO...7I9/s-l500.jpg Pictures are not great but I would have a close look at the paint (ad does say paint requires attention but not why) http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/mm0AAO...7JQ/s-l500.jpg No mention of timing belt so check when it was last done and add the cost if required. Going by its last MOT advisories expect to have to spend money on the brakes |
Does seem a bit cheap for what it is, makes me wonder why.
Let us know how you get on |
Are you on facebook? look "for Cars For Sale Somerset" there are quite a few A4's for sale on there.

Thanks for all the pointers with this car, guess really back to the looking stage.
I know the right car will show up at some point. |
