Finally.. Back on the road !! Still 'with issues' but it's got an MOT, tax and insurance. Two advisories on the MOT for brake pipe slightly corroded front to rear and a rear brake hose close to rubbing, but all of the necessary stuff is on its way. Now to address body issues and cosmetics, including getting the wording off of its sides. (I'm guessing that the arty tarty stuff will be the bits that cost, but hey.. It's another CQ on the road !).

I let the thing gulp some fuel and air in no uncertain terms and bliss.. I'd forgotten what a nice noise these things make. Another plus was an Audi A6 Quattro Avant overtook the traffic to get behind me on the local bypass, and rather than 'burn me off' he pulled in behind me and took a pic on his phone. (tut tut we shouldn't do that boys and girls) He also smiled and gave the thumbs up as I pulled off and he went by.

OK so on a high as it's the first time it's been on a road for a long long time, ...what can I say?

Yep, it has Audi plates on it... Alas can't remember who's off the top of my head. Will look and tell tomorrow. :tup:
