Leather + Wheels + Gearboxes

Black leather seats (type 89 4 door i think) the fronts are non tilting and the drivers side has wear marks and the side bolster has collapsed, look fine but obviously not immaculate. Rear bench looks to be very good condition. Photos and more details on request.

£150.

6x Audi 90 Speedline rims, come w/o tyres in good general condition but could do with refurb. I can get photos on request. Willing to sell as set of 4 and then a pair if two buyers are agreed.

£120 for the 6.

I have 3x Audi 90 Quattro 20v gearboxes. No mounting brackets included but gearboxes are complete (will check thrust bearings are present for clutch). Can get gearbox codes and photos for those intertested.

£50/each.

Is that gearbox better than my 87 cq , as you know I am after 4-500 bhp so need to know which way to go, dont suppose you got the block to go with that gearbox.

the coupe Quattro uses the 016 transmission, this is 01e (or 01a i think) ut same ratios... your current setup will cope with the power output fine. I have a couple 7a engines but they are spares for my build (500bhp 20v lump into my UR).

So not sellin then eh?

are you just after a block or full bottom end?

Jay

ideally a complete engine, but have been offered both a head and bottom end separately or a complete engine which hasnt run in a year, there is also a possibility of taking a 187k running engine out of a coupe,, not sure which way to go.

i think the standard 5 speed coupe quattro box is stronger than the 6 speed..

As i understand it, its more than up for the job.

I'm sure there is a guy running a 5 speed and he has 500+ bhp. :D & I think it tops out at 150 something mph, but waists no time getting there lol. insane.

are you planning on fitting it first or rebuilding it? Getting the parts seperately could be cheaper and save you the time for stripping it down. If your going turbocharged on a 7a you need new pistons and conrods anyway and i've advise completely rebuilding the bottom end from scratch (including honing if the cylinder walls are slightly worn).

I only have 2 engines here and need one as a spare incase of any upsets sorry.
