KV TSR or GTI ENGINEERING 2.5 conversion
Hello
As above I'm looking for either a TSR or GTI Engineering 2.5 KV conversion. Please drop me a pm if you have anything sat in the corner of the shed or know of one somewhere. I'm in Wiltshire but obviously can travel to collect within reason. Many thanks:tup: Simon |
Still looking, thought someone on classic audi might have had something sat in the corner of the shed! Would consider parts i.e TSR head, GTI block and pistons etc?

These were very rare even within their period so now they are.....even more so ....
From memory at the time any magazine that drove them thought they were really powerful, loads of torque and some even thought they performed in the real word, and were more practical on the road, than the turbo versions. |
Hi Chris. Seen a few in the past and hoping that someone who has gone down the 20VT route might have one 'kicking' about. I like my KV and an extra 40 ponnies would be welcomed.

hear you go David (Dave) Crissel @ Allstage Chapel Lane Cottage Chapel Lane Brackley NN13 5LR 01869 811132 |
Thanks for that MK1 really appreciated

Steve Cresswell of C&R Enterprises is worth a ring and chat, he also uses the preferred 92.8mm crank (longer stroke from a diesel 5 pot is not as happy to rev)
Not cheap but a smooth reliable conversion that produces 180bhp and similar torque:tup: |
With the addition of K-Star, TSR extracted 200bhp and similar torque out of my conversion ;)
Engine was sold to an american guy. EDIT: K-Star was a piggy back system which allowed to tune timing and fueling adjustments |
20vcdriver thanks for the heads up I've read about the 92.8 crank fitted to SA T25's.
jogi730 thanks for the info I'll do some research. |
