very low mileage coupe GT for grabs!

on Classic Cars for sale.

Not a runner at the moment, but probably wouldn't take a lot.

Just shows, theyre still out there! Like that one, would be tempted but im after a Cq or an Urq with a knackered engine rather than a GT.:(

If it's a fuel pump problem that would be a piece of piss to fix.

Why do these things come along at just the wrong time??

poopcoupe 23-01-09 12:49 PM

how much do you think it should go for?

20vcqdriver 23-01-09 12:50 PM

Great buy and not far away, if only I could persuade my wife to let me have another car on the drive... :nono:

Emjay 23-01-09 01:02 PM

As a non runner then I would probably suggest about 400 quid. Low mileage counts in it's favour, hopefully the bodyork is good and the interior has stood the test of time.

Have emailed the seller to see if I can get some more photos'. Must admit to being very tempted.

we guys phoned the guy the fuel pump is gone the car has not moved in over 5 years no mot no tax and the guy wants £2000 and more there is a hole in driver seat and a dent on the door so what should he be looking for men what is the right price for this car

Emjay 23-01-09 02:17 PM

He's seriously taking the piss at 2 grand Gabriel. Based on what you have said then I would stick by my original offer at £400 quid.

Bear in mind cost to
Tow it away, replace petrol pump, fix interior, fix bodywork, clean, polish, put through MOT. If it's not run for 5 years hows the brakes, bushes, oils and fluids??? Siezed clutch?? you get the picture

Like I say total piss take at that price. :wall:

Thats funny ,i rang about that coupe he said i could have it for £1500,the chap got rather upset when i replied"its not worth that " he said it had not moved for 10 years ,I said" £150 and i'll take it off your hands" end of conversation!:lol::lol:
