Rear lamp with lock opening.
 

Does anyone know if the lamp with the lock opening from an 80 Avant will fit the B3 saloon?

My guess would be no, the B3 bootlid is completely different to a B4 whether saloon or estate

There is a chance that it will fit.

As you can fit 90 rear panels to the S2 avant.

90 rear panels also fit the 80 saloon and vice versa.

Certainley same profile as earlier B3 80/90 models so should fit just need to check its the same shade of red/white.

B4 saloon boot lid lights are a different external profile no mid straight line and more rounded. Avant tail lights are same profile as earlier orange 80/90 lights and can be fitted to a B3 so should work the other way round.
