Not an Audi, but I have just been sent a pic of the first car I owned. I loved this car. It was shite, but as a young lad, I loved it.

Note the small hole where the door lock was. Some f****r pulled the whole thing out and nicked the stereo but left the music! Have fond memories of the 5, getting it on 2 wheels a favourite of mine....:D

My first car... I inherited my Grandads 1939 Austin 8 . Originally faded maroon, hand painted with Valspar paint to meet the needs of a frustrated drag racer in 1965.
Maybe that's why I still hanker after the older car..... ;)

my 1275 GT - for a first car it felt like you were driving a rocket powered go kart!

great fun although the front screen de-mister was dreadful and misfiring from the forward mounted dizzy was a pain in damp weather . . wd40 anyone??

In 1996 Mine was a Rosso red ford Orion ghia. E reg. same wind deflector on the roof as yours ken. Mine was lowered Sierra sapphire 15" lattice alloys, rs steering, x2 spots, peco 3" exhaust back box.

mine was an audi 80 reg numbr- lay 280p in 1984 me and few friends chippd in £50 it was & we was only 12yrs old under age driving :nono: then in 87 bought a 80 cl it was 78/s reg in dark blue & in 88 passed my test & bout an escort 5dr 1.6l 1st of mk3 it was 1981/w terracota in colour , put rs turbo alloys on it & xr3i seats in it smashed in with in a yr & then the coupe/quattro bug realy started bought an 81-coupe gt 5pot carb mdl i was 17:cool:
