It's a funny old world.

Looking at various pics etc on Facebook of various mint old cars, it strikes me as kind of sad that people cherish tat like 1980 Morris Ital 1.7 HLS', but other people allow far more desireable and valuable cars such as Ur quattros/RS2000s etc to sit and rot and die.
I just don't get it. :shake:

When did you last see a mint ital or Austin princess ? Bet there's only a handful or even a decent montego or maestro , problem is they were Shyte when new and built Shyte which compounds the rarity and oddball desirability

Sadly there are more than a few knocking about. Hence the title of my thread. :shake:

Oddball desirability is a superb description of the classic car market. Where, quite often, and quite literally, 'worse' means more valuable...

For some strange reason, numbers sold maybe?, they far out number the equivalent Audis of the day.
At any Classic Car Show, it always strikes me how many classic Audis are not on show.
Are they all over in Ireland? :ihih:

All the shite must reside in the North West, then. :shake: lol
