Yep, I'll stick it in the barn with all the others. £15,000 finished!!! Which planet are some people on. It has no history, the mileage is plainly not 45,000. So any prospective purchaser has to assume that every thing is wrong until otherwise tested and proven to be OK.

This is probably worth a couple of grand and a gamble that the engine is good. Its going to need a complete repaint £4-5 grand for a half decent job, plus potentially a couple of grands worth of mechanicals, brakes, fuel system (probably including the tank) etc and the multiple other things that a quattro that ain't moved for 13 years is going to need. But even finished to concours I doubt any one will be waving £15K about, 10 might float some-ones boat.

well you diagnosed my low pressure brake switch problem pretty quickly at the glamis show the other year and i'm delighted to say that i can have the voice synthesiser activated and she doesn't keep going on about a brake fault any longer, so thank you for that.

Why would you buy that when you could but this all ready for the road for not a lot more?
