injector rubbers

how do i change injector rubber grommets? i have taken out the injector. do i need to disconect the fuel line or will it slide up from the bottom of injector?

If it's the later K-Jet type with a chrome end it should stretch over it and sit in the groove once pushed up the injector. I used a bit of oil to help it to sit in the plastic cup - most went in easily but one was an absolute pig???

Can you buy new ones? They are pretty tough - takes some pushing to get them on!

yes gsf sell them and the dealer sells them about 50 to 70p each they are same as the golf

but if you're desperate, the rubber rocker stud o-rings in an aircooled vdub gasket set work just as well i.e. any good quality o-ring of the right size should do the job
