Opel GT
hi all
am thinking of buying a Opel GT anyone know about these, have been told they going up in value and very rare in the UK but what are they like to live with? good buy or not? cheers |
Must be rare, I've never seen one before in a flesh. Certainly looks nice, a bit like Corvette :) I would imagine parts would be a real pain to get hold of..

lovely wee wagon , actually more around than youd think and projects can be bought for as little as 1500 or at least they were a year or 2 ago, parts are plentiful in germany with specialists and in the us there are specialists , prob more rust free panels available from the us though

Mechanical bits are same as Manta A-series........ body and trim parts are obviously GT only.
The old CIH engines are pretty bullet-proof assuming they've had regular oil changes. http://i996.photobucket.com/albums/a...ing2010001.jpg |
a mate of mine has one... its been in his family for years... he says parts are available.. theyre only available in LHD ... and theres no boot... nice wee car...

find them on facebook https://www.facebook.com/pages/Opel-...14943655222508 |
Think they featured it in a 'group test' within the last 12 months in either 'Classic Car' magazine, or 'Classic & Sportscar'.
If you go on their websites I think you can check archived articles. |
