Just a thought chaps, should we start a new thread for this one as this is an extension of last years thread, and for those that don't know this a "must not miss" weekend, last year was the event of 2011 for me. :tup::tup:

The format of the day will be pretty much as per last year:

·******** 11:00am -5:00pm Show Time
·******** 3:00pm - *Awards
·******** 4:00pm First movement of vehicles
·******** 5:00pm – End of show

Our chosen charity this year is Wigan & Leigh Hospice, a close friend of ours died quite recently and the Hospice did a tremendous job not only caring for Paul but supporting his young family, hospice’s throughout the country are valuable services like the air ambulance therefore we hope the proceeds from the show and charity dinner (6th October) will assist in keeping this valuable services alive.

We have already secured plots for clubs that showed interest from last year and also made improvements along the way, one thing I need to stress that was a H&S issue last year is that no vehicles will be permitted to move before 4:00pm, Haigh Hall is a Country Park therefore public safety is paramount.

We have made a few improvements on last years show.
A beer tent with beer garden
4 more clubs than last year
2 special display stands
A larger Breakfast meet venue 500m away from last years
The Classic Audi stand last year was the best attended with over 20 cars,so lets see if we can match it again this year.

Seriously chaps, this is the one day of 2012 not to be missed, sadly it clashes with Audi's in the Park, but you don't want to park in a field of A series do you lol !

A superb day will be had by all, not just Audi's but some of the finest examples of German engineering, I'll even bring the famous cheeseboard.

Hoping the highlights of this years stand will be the 200 rally car so superbly taken on by retro auto and the coxmeisters 80 quattro

David, Sally and Rug-Rats - B3 80 16 Valve Sport (yeah she's coming out again) :finger:

wiil be there but expect to be parked up with the Club Audi guys this year (boo hiss)

Make sure you bring the car,camera,2 fingers,oh and the boss.See you there.

Does anyone know entry prices etc for this show? I wanna go :D
