Cheers Ryan, saved me a job was just about to cut and paste it myself!!!
Ive dropped the price to £1800 and I might px as Im after something I can use for track days, Idealy an early golf vr6 or a later shape Quattro coupe. |
is that £800 or £1800???
Is there a suitcase with £1000 in the boot included in the sale? Going rate for a decent one is about £8-900. Coxy's is immaculate. |
I really do not want to sound arsey or negative but why oh why over the last few months has everyone harped on about getting hold of one of these superb motors because they have always wanted one, wielded a spray gun at them in the odd place or two, hoovered them out, slapped on some alloys then punted them off to make a quick buck or two. Some dream cars. P.M.S.L.:rolleyes:

Yes, that does seem to be the case. This one was on e-Bay about 12-15months ago I think. It was a one or two owner if I recall: had seat covers on all its life & was a very good example - low mileage too. Each to his own on keeping them or not I guess. I'm a hoarder myself, so make up for those who move them on quickly. Cheers.

No longer for sale, Ive now booked it in for some paint with a view to keep it.
Re the price I had it up for, I thought it was fair considering what I paid for it + time and money spent on it. I obviously paid too much for it!!! didnt mean to cause offense. |
I paid slightly (could have been worse) over the odds for my very tidy Coupe quattro as every man and his dog was after it - including a copper who wanted to park it up outside the local nick with a 'fire up the quattro' sign on it! Yes, unbelievable I know. Now I've put new lifters, big service, fluids changed, full check-up and a new clutch it has cost me way more than I could ever sell it for.
But that is old cars for you. Still, another way to look at it is that '70s Porsches cost a lot more to buy, but my favourite car costs small change. Glad to hear you are keeping your car. It is a nice one. |
