Horn Relay?

Hanuman 17-09-11 12:47 PM

2nd, for the Horn relay option. The horns themselves are up front, and if they are original, I think they have lasted well. I replaced mine (with something straight from Halfrauds) in 199something.

I third the relay. When its an earth thats come adrift or the horns fubar they just dont work, no sound at all.
I replaced mine with a set from Halfords as well and i think they came with a new relay.

Check the fuse is ok.
Check the connections to fuse and the relay o/p are clean and good.
Check the connections at the horn end too.
But yes, horns can fail unexpectedly too.

ahhhh...just had a thought...i wonder if that was the horn i saw when the panel beater had the bumper off - is it beside the washer bottle behind the nearside headlamp per chance? if so perhaps he's disturbed a wire as i'm sure the thing was working prior to painting..hmm

With my collection of medical problems, I am apparently entitled to Viagra tablets on prescription.

Four a month.
