Fuel system in my GT..?

The fuel system in my GT (2l JS 5pot) is a K-jetronics system yes?

Which cars share the same system but with a larger capacity engine in particular which years of which models? Obivous it's only 5 cylinder systems i'm interested in.

Thanks

Oh boy... Which ones didn't... The Bosch K Jet of that era was pretty much identical across several manufacturers, let alone models... The K Jet on most 5 pots is a blanked off metering head from a 6 pot (If you look, you can see where the sixth port should be)... So, think Capri 2.8i or any derivative (granada etc), then there's the VW range, with the Passats etc, and Audi with the 80, 90, 100, 200 etc....

Then, if it's more fuel supply your after, Treser used the Bosch K Jet from a Porsche 928 (V8) to supply more fuel into both its modified turbo and N/A cars like the Superfail Coupe.

You've got plenty of scope, but ultimately Bosch K jet comes unstuck against modern electronic injection. It's just very crude.

Hope this helps

Ian
