Engine code 'WE'

Any info on this engine, anyone? I know it is 2144cc but unsure of compression ratio and con rod length...According to the guy I bought it from it's out of an '84 Coupe, but I can't find any info on it lsewhere (save the aynes manual I have). Tried www.kvquattro.com but to no avail...

Any info appreciated.

Cheers,

Matt

This list sucks ;)

This engine was manufactured 1977-03 - 1978-07, aviable in A80/A100/coupe, in two versions - 107 and 115 bhp. Unfortunately, i can't find anything about it in autodata :(

100 bhp usa and 110bhp canada Do you want the tune up specs?

I know it's never going to be any power house as-is, but seems funny that there's hardly any info on it...

Without wanting to sound daft; what are 'tune up specs'?

Cheers all for replies,

Matt

All you need is a car to put it in, or is it going in the Pug?

Cheers for that ;)

Pimp - I don't know, but I figured I can stash an engine for a bit, all the while 'tuning it up' easier than I can a whole car :D Also, breakers are throwing these out every other day, so I figured they may not be as easy to get hold of by the time I get a garage big enough for a car in which to put it!!!
