KV engine-what does this sensor control??

It's the sensor on the bottom of the pipe(Not top.),that goes from head to radiator?
What is this (temp) sensor(brown/black wire.) for and what does it control.
Thanks.

is it the fan switch? Either that or maybe water temp gauge?

Water temperature sensor. Gives signal to ECU or temp gauge - can't remember.

Pull the wire off and see which one stops working.

If it's for ECU - will not see it. It let's ECU to know - when to open cold start injector and extra air "valve" at the end of inlet manifold - holding on rubber pipes....

If it's for gauge - yes, You'll see it immidiately!

So logicaly - You'll understand for what it is ;)

Only part connected to KV engine that could be called "ECU" is that small control unit, which controls ISV. Probably that sender is for it. For temp gauge and light should be the one which is on top - looks very familiar, the same as on B3 I4 engines.
